This Anne Klein wrist watch is in great shape and looks like it was never worn. I love the rose gold dial with the rose gold detail on the crystal , it gives it such a rich look. the dial has a genuine diamond on it to add a touch of sparkle. This watch would be a great watch to add to your collection and would be great with any outfit.
Future fashion designer Anne Klein was born in New York City in 1923. Right out of high school, she landed a job in the garment industry and was already such a talent that within a year, she was employed at Varden Petites, where she introduced the new size “junior miss” for young women/girls on the slimmer side. In 1948, she stepped in as head designer for a new company called Junior Sophisticates that her husband owned. Under her, the label flourished, providing chic styles for petite young women. By this time, she was also flirting with the idea of designing for women over 18. When she graduated to adult fashion, she created feminine clothing using menswear silhouettes and design techniques. Her tailored blouses, jackets, and pants were a big hit, but she had yet to make a mark all her own in her name.
In 1968, she established the company, Anne Klein, as co-owner and director. By the early 1970s, Klein became a force; close to a thousand department stores and boutiques offered Anne Klein sportswear, which promptly flew off the shelves. Her signature pieces were sharply-tailored blouses, pants, blazers, dress/jacket combos, wasp-waisted and jersey dresses, battle jackets, and hooded blouson tops.
