Vintage Sterling Silver and Mother Of Pearl Multi Cameo Necklace-
This Mother of Pearl necklace is so pretty even though the surface of the cameos is a bit worn. I love the open work connecting links and the gold roping around each silver framed cameo. The cameos themselves are so interesting, they appear to have an ocean theme with a person standing holding what might be a seashell? I just keep thinking of sea goddess or Neptune standing on the edge of a cliff calling out to the sea! I don't often see mother of pearl cameos and the iridescence really creates a soft feel to the piece. I could see this worn with a bridal gown for a beach themed wedding or as a statement piece with that vintage dress you just bought! Mother Of Pearl is considered an auspicious stone for women. The luster and shine of the pearl resemble the beauty, grace, and elegance of a woman.
