Vintage Sterling Silver and Turquoise Necklace-
The morning star features a small circle encircled by several spiked rays. Native Americans regard the morning star as a symbol of hope and guidance because it is always the brightest light in the sky during dawn. Some tribes even honor the morning star as a symbol of spiritual purity and courage while others associate it with the resurrection of fallen heroes. This turquoise pendant has a very celestial look to it. It almost looks like a star shape in the center of the pendant surrounded by another star. The turquoise has a deeper blue color to it. I love how the pendant has the little dangles off the bottom that create movement when you are wearing the piece. The textured deeper grooves around the star help the design to really pop. Turquoise is the birthstone for December. Turquoise is called a gemstone of the life, and is esteemed for thousands of years as a holy stone, a bringer of good and fortune It is believed to have healing property, truly captivating power and considered as protection against evil and ill health to ward off the influence of dark and evil powers.
