Vintage yellow Gold and Marquise Cut Garnet and Diamond Ring-
Loving this vintage marquise cut beauty! The center stone is a garnet and this one has a nice orangish red tone to it. Perfect for fall. It is accented by tiny round cut diamonds that create a cross over X making the garnet the star in the center. This might be designed to represent hugs and kisses with the X and O motif! This ring is light weight and has a nice low profile for everyday wear. Garnet is the birthstone for January. Garnets as birthstones are believed to bring the wearer health, wealth, and happiness. It is thought that this comes from garnets’ use throughout history. In ancient times, any red gemstone was called a “carbuncle,” including the garnet. The carbuncle was one of the four gemstones given to Solomon by God.
