Antique Lady's Locle Le Jacot Open Face Pocket Watch-
Le Locle is Switzerland’s third smallest city and located in the Jura mountains. It is often referred to as the birthplace of the Swiss watch industry with a lot of the biggest Swiss brands being born there. Georges Favre-Jacot was not quite Henry Ford, but he was almost as important to the transformation of watchmaking in Switzerland from an industry of cottage workers to factory production. He founded his “Fabrique des Billodes” in 1865 at the age of 22, locating it in Le Locle, the historic home of watchmaking in the region.
