Dainty Vintage Sterling Silver and Azurite Ring-
Azurite has been used as a blue dye for the better part of history. Other azurite uses include it being used as jewelry and as a display piece. Azurite also called Chessylite –a name after the Chessy-les-Mines town where it’s first mined. In the ancient Greece, Rome, Persian Empire, and Egypt, azurite is extremely prized. The said cultures reflected blue as a sacred color.
