This Anne Klein wrist watch is in great shape and looks like it was never worn. The oversized dial makes it easier to read and I love the classic look of the leather strap. The gold toned detail will allow you to layer this piece with your other gold jewelry and bracelets. It has a nice thin feel and not too heavy.
Future fashion designer Anne Klein was born in New York City in 1923. Right out of high school, she landed a job in the garment industry and was already such a talent that within a year, she was employed at Varden Petites, where she introduced the new size “junior miss” for young women/girls on the slimmer side. In 1948, she stepped in as head designer for a new company called Junior Sophisticates that her husband owned. Under her, the label flourished, providing chic styles for petite young women.
