Vintage Faux Scrimshaw Cuff Links with Polar Bear Design-
These cuff links have a great design of a polar bear on each. They have a scrimshaw design but don't worry no animals were hurt in the production of these vintage pieces. They are either resin or plastic so you can feel good about that. Scrimshaw is scrollwork, engravings, and carvings done in bone or ivory. Typically it refers to the artwork created by whalers, engraved on the byproducts of whales, such as bones or cartilage.
