Vintage Sterling Silver and Carved Jadeite Ring-
This vintage ring has a great look. It is in sterling silver and the jade stone has a very organic shape and is carved with what looks to me like a dragon. The color of the stone is gorgeous. It is a long ring and will make a statement ring any hand. Jade jadeite is found in strongly transformed serpentinous rocks that are rich in sodium. Further, it is named from the Spanish term “piedra de ijada” which means stone of the side since it is believed to treat ailments related to the kidney. Jadeite Jade, particularly the fine-grained one is extremely tougher compared to steel.

-Top of ring measures 15 mm. x 29 mm. and 5 mm. in height
-Shank measures 4.5 mm. and tapers down to 3 mm.
