Vintage Yellow Gold Mossy Agate Pendant-
This pretty little pendant is so fascinating. The mossy pattern inside this stone is like a magically encased piece of the woods you can wear close to your heart. The mossy pattern is so thick at first glance it almost looks solid green. The delicate scrollwork and roped edging around the stone is the final touch to making this such a beautiful piece.
Moss agate is a semi-precious gemstone formed from silicon dioxide. It is a form of chalcedony which includes minerals of a green color embedded in the stone, forming filaments and other patterns suggestive of moss.
